The Nat Reed Gallery presents Jim French Before Colt

Description

Before creating Colt Studio and establishing himself as the uncontested master of the male form in photography, Jim French worked as a commercial artist in New York. During the heady, Mad Men days of the early sixties French's portfolio included exquisite album cover portraits, brilliantly stylized textile designs, elegant fashion illustrations and more. View a special selection of this work culled from the artists archives and put on display for the first time in fifty years.
Signed pigment reproductions of most pieces will be available for acquisition as well as several original drawings and paintings.
