Leather Pride, Boo-Tox, a SAW-themed Escape Room, LGBT Night at a Sports Bar & More!

The Leather Men are Coming
So many men AND events.  So little time!

As we learn at DesertLeatherPride.com, "Since the mid ‘90s, when Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert (PSLOD) first hosted “Sweating Bullets” Run, PSLOD has enjoyed the likes of Leatherfolk from all around the world to gather in our Desert Oasis each year for a hot, sweaty, leather, gear and fetish weekend."

This year is no exception, as the event kicks off Thursday and lasts until Sunday.

'Today, Palm Springs Leather Pride is one of the city’s most popular LGBT events and one of the largest, longest-running, and most successful Leather/Fetish Events in California and the United States.

This year we’re flying mile high and where no other contest has gone before competing inside of an Air Force hangar with fighter jets on display and a weekend that’s sure to get you hard and off. We take off on Thursday the 27th of October and won’t  be stopping or landing until Sunday the 30th or the morning after depending on you.  More Info

Perhaps There's No Escape from The Saw Room!

For decades and decades, the phrase has always been, “Escape To Palm Springs!” Now, Mark and Dominique Fruchtman are making it possible to escape in Palm Springs.

For those not familiar with the concept of escape rooms, they have been gaining popularity nationally and internationally over the last several years and have become memorable and fun encounters for families, business groups, friends, and couples.

Escape Room Palm Springs, boasts four escape rooms with varying challenges and themes to boggle your mind and imagination. Mark Fruchtman said, "It’s is a fun place for people to put away their phones and unplug for a while.”  He went on to say, “Escape rooms require logic and lateral thinking to succeed. About 20% of teams will succeed in escaping our rooms before time runs out, but everyone is assured a great time either way.”

The four themed escape rooms are as follows:

SAW: Inspired by the horror film of the same name, you and your friends have been kidnapped by a sadistic captor and your only clues to escape are those provided by the journal entries from the prisoner who didn’t make it out before you! (18 and over for adult content).

DARK SHADOWS: An angry witch locks her vampire lover out of his coffin. It’s up to you and your friends to break the spells and the curses of the witch and help the vampire to get back into his coffin before dawn. (ages 12 and up).

MYSTERY: Without a backstory to distract you, the Mystery Room is made up of pure puzzles. Think of it like the Da Vinci Code meets the Twilight Zone. Colors and lights may trick you as you and your team works to solve the puzzles before time runs out.

TITANIC:  The ship is sinking and there is one lifeboat key left, hidden somewhere in the Captain’s quarters. The Titanic game is two identical rooms where teams of up to six players race against each other and the clock to find the same lifeboat key!  More Info
