Comedy Shows and Jason Alexander Gala Performance

Driving back from a quick day trip to L.A. yesterday, I could feel all the stress just melting away as I entered back into this wonderful city. I have never felt such a love for a community as Palm Springs. No matter where I go or what event I attend, there is always a diverse crowd and no one cares about your color, sexual orientation or what background you are from. People are just so happy here and there is no rush on life, but isn't that the way it should be?

The weather has been amazing this week. I can open the windows and feel the cool breeze and look out to see this view of the mountains while I'm writing. There is no smog blinding my sight and I don't here the sound of car horns or traffic from the big city. I was having a conversation with a friend at Streetbar a few days ago and mentioned I drove to Palm Desert to shop and they looked at me stating "Oh wow, thats a long drive". I am still laughing at this.

This weekend is yet another great line up of entertainment and the multi-talented Jason Alexander is here performing with the Desert Symphony on Saturday night at the McCallum Theatre. Did you know he was an award winning broadway star long before his days on Seinfeld? He shares his musical journey and passion for the music of the theater in a magical, musical and hysterical evening. Another star studded event on Saturday is the comedy show at The Purple Room starring the fabulous Marie Delprete from the hit T.V show "King of Queens". Stick around after the comedy show for the musical sounds of Kal David and his band featuring Miss Lauri Bono. The Purple room always has amazing entertainment each week and never disappoints. If you have never visited this wonderful establishment, it is a relaxing and most inviting intimate setting, and the food is delicious! There a still a few tickets available HERE
